As founder of L.Maxwell, Lisa is a 20-year veteran of the human capital industry with an unparalleled track record for placing CEOs, C-level executives and board members for professional service firms around the world. Her firm manages multi-country assignments that range from emerging growth enterprises to global leaders in executive search and recruitment. Before founding L.Maxwell in 2005, Lisa was a senior partner with the Lucas Group, where she was one of the leading revenue-producing recruiters, as well as a repeated member of the President’s Club. She graduated from Purdue University with a BA in International Business and Spanish.

Her clients have included global giants such as AllianceBernstein, American Express, Twitter and Microsoft. Recognized as a Leader in Motion by Randstad, she is respected as a partner who delivers in the most challenging talent markets. She began her executive search career with Lucas Group, where she recruited senior leaders in human resources and launched the firm's first DE&I practice.

Alisson Ruhala
Director of Research
Alisson is a seasoned professional currently serving as the Director of Research at L.Maxwell Global since 2010. She brings to the table over 15 years of technology support experience, with specialization in information management, database management and research. Alisson holds a Bachelor of Arts in clinical psychology from Rollins College, and her experience is further complimented by her proficiency in various database, inventory control, and office software products.
In her work, she has excelled in numerous projects, including the successful inventory audit for the Fulton County Schools system where she scored 100% for over 22,000 industry audits and the migration of L.Maxwell company data from Bullhorn legacy database to Salesforce. In her current role, Alisson handles a wide range of responsibilities including drafting client proposals, position specifications, conducting reference check interviews and background checks, managing service contract renewals and serving as relationship manager for all services ranging from recruitment tools to CRM database services.

Valeria is a highly skilled Senior Associate who brings 10 years of experience in Finance roles within manufacturing, distribution and e-commerce industries, and is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in Economics. Valeria’s areas of expertise include leadership, project management, problem-solving, human capital management and analytics.
